Riverdale Color is a supplier of liquid colorants, additives and compounds to the plastics industry. The company was formed in 1985 by the principals who purchased the business, inventory and assets from Grestco Dyes and Chemicals. The company has been doing business in chemicals since 1900's and in colorants since 1960's. Riverdale Color supplies colorants and additives to consumer and commercial markets such as toys, personal care, packaging and outdoor furniture. We are doing business nationally as well as internationally (Central, South America and Europe). Riverdale Color's new manufacturing facility is located in Perth Amboy, NJ. Its liquid color operation is supported by trained and experienced staff. The facility features a State-of-the-Art Color lab, which is involved in color development, color matching, and quality control. A new technical training center is available to Riverdale's Customers. The Sales and Marketing and Customer Service are operated from the same complex. Riverdale is pioneering the concept of mobile satellite facilities placed in strategically important locations. These facilities open initially for warehousing and repackaging. As customers' needs evolve, these locations become the blending operations, responding quickly and flexibly to the demands of manufacturing. The satellites receive the semi-finished goods from the main manufacturing location, store them, and produce the final products on the short notice in just the necessary quantity. At this point the first satellite location is open for warehousing in Monterrey, Mexico. The next planned satellite site will be located in Tijuana, Mexico area.
